ROCHESTER AREA BAND GOING TO L.A.:
WILL WORK WITH GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING
PRODUCER BOB KULICK
HADLOCK, one of
Rochester’s most electrifying rock bands for more than six years,
will be heading to Los Angeles in October. After considering offers
from various record labels, and being pursued by four different
Grammy® award-winning producers, HADLOCK has decided to remain
independent and work with well-known guitarist and music producer
Bob Kulick. Bob
will be working with the band to enhance their unique blend of 80’s
arena rock with modern contemporary rock.
Kulick is best
known for his work with the group Kiss. He has also worked with
other national recording artists , including Meatloaf, Dianna Ross,
Alice Cooper and he produced Motorhead's Grammy® Award-Winning Song,
"Whiplash" - 2004's Best Metal Performance.
Kris Hadlock, the
former drummer for Chesterfield Kings, formed HADLOCK in 2001. In
addition to Kris Hadlock on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, band
members include: Richie Roccisano on lead guitar and backing vocals,
Robert Maslin on drums and vocals, Ron Lee Brock on bass guitar and
vocals, and Chris Renner on keyboards. All of the band’s music is
original and written by Hadlock and Roccisano.
HADLOCK will
return to Rochester for a welcome-back concert, following their
recording sessions in Los Angeles.
